The Back Story
After completing degrees in biology and statistics (B.A.) and organizational leadership (M.A.), I spent the first part of my career in operations at an Ivy League institution and in creative leadership at a magazine start-up. Becoming a designer of digital products was a natural next step as I seek to create human-centered experiences with my designs.
My Design Philosophy
As someone with a penchant for observation, I tend to absorb the world around me with both scrutiny and empathy. My ongoing quest to understand the motivations of individual people allows me to tap into diverse worlds and ways of being. As such, my design process is interdisciplinary. Rather than designing carte blanche, I pull inspiration from successful models of implementation and build bridges to new applications.
Out of the Office
In my free time, I’m most often practicing Bikram (read: hot) yoga, reading about the Enneagram (I’m a five-wing-six, by the way), or getting to know Philadelphia on my little red 50cc Vespa.
